北海道ワイン教育研究センターを開設し，キックオフミーティングを挙行しました
去る４月１３日、北海道大学農学部 大講堂にて「HOKKAIDO WINE VALLEYキックオフミーティング」を開催いたしました。現地では、来賓の方を中心に総勢７２人の方々が、オンラインでは１５０名を超える方々が参加されました。
本年４月１日に、北海道大学では、農学研究院寄附講座 北海道ワインのヌーヴェルヴァーグ研究室が中心となり、複数部局の教員が参加した総合的なワイン研究及び教育拠点である「北海道ワイン教育研究センター」を開設しました。また、ワインを核とした北海道ブランドの価値向上と食文化の創造を目的に、北海道庁、道内研究機関等とともに、道内ワイナリー等を支援する「北海道ワインプラットフォーム」を発足しました。本ミーティングは、上記の２組織の発足を足がかりにして、北海道をワイン産業の集積地＝「HOKKAIDO WINE VALLEY」とすることを目標に掲げることを記念して開催されたものです。
当日は、鈴木知事と寳金総長の「北海道ワインバレーの未来について」をテーマとして対談が行われ、ミーティングの最後にワイングラスを片手にフォトセッションを行い、結束を高めました。
On April 13th, we held the “HOKKAIDO WINE VALLEY Kick-off Meeting” at the Hokkaido University School of Agriculture Auditorium. A total of 72 people, mainly guests, participated locally, and more than 150 people participated online.
On April 1st, this year at Hokkaido University, “Hokkaido Wine Education and Research Center” was established, by Laboratory for Nouvelle Vague of Hokkaido Wines in the Research Faculty of Agriculture, and of faculty members from multiple departments. In addition, with the aim of increasing the value of the Hokkaido brand centered on wine and creating a food culture, the “Hokkaido Wine Platform” was launched to support Hokkaido wineries, etc., together with the Hokkaido Government and research institutes in Hokkaido. The meeting was held in commemoration of positioning Hokkaido as a center of wine industry = “HOKKAIDO WINE VALLEY”, by the establishment of above-mentioned organizations.
In the meeting, Mr. Naomichi Suzuki, Governor of Hokkaido and Prof. Dr. Kiyohiro Houkin, President of Hokkaido University talked about the future of Hokkaido Wine, and at the end of the meeting, a photo session was held with a wine glass in one hand to strengthen unity.
