material cycle in natural rice cultivation, water and solute movement in soils; soil structure and permeability, adsorption in soils, control of soil erosion; contaminant transport and purification; spatial variability analysis of soil properties for optimum land use; evaluation of soil degradation and its remediation by use of soil amendments.
