International Symposium on Resilience in the Global Food System

Resilience in the Global Food System is a two-day conference organized by the Global Station for Food, Land and Water Resources as well as co-organized by the Graduate School of Global Food Resources, the Research Faculty of Agriculture, and the Faculty of Engineering, Research, and Education Centre for Robust Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Industry will be held on October 3d (Wed) and 4th (Thu), 2018 at Hokkaido University.

This symposium provides the advanced research and the practical challenges in the field of sensing, ICT technologies, soil conservation, genetic manipulation, technologies to utilize water and biomass. The aim of the symposium is to promote the interdisciplinary research to solve issues on global food resources, and to lead local revitalization.
